TellerSolution® Release 9 Available!

TRC Interactive is proud to announce the enhancements that are included in TellerSolution® Release 9.0. TellerSolution® is currently used by hundreds of financial institutions throughout the country.

The newest enhancements in the 9.0 upgrade of TellerSolution® include:

  • A completely new Module has been added - Customer Service. This new Module includes ways to identify proper customer greetings, how to recognize professionalism, how to identify customer styles and reactions to them, how to identify conflict and how to resolve it, and how to identify ways to constructively say, “No”. 
  • Stop Payments has been added to the Checks Module.
  • Safe Deposit Box entry and information has been added to the Miscellaneous Transactions Module. 
  • We have added a unique feature to the Robbery Module. The learner will be presented the image of a man and then must re-create him using the principles that a police sketch artist uses.
  • Incorporating an adult-learning game, we have added a crossword puzzle to the Comprehensive Final Exam section as an optional way to earn a few extra (10) points.
  • We have updated regulation and FDIC information and many new graphics have been added.
  • An updated Action Guide is provided, which is the companion piece to the multimedia and can be customized to your organization.

TRC President to Present at Brandon Hall Innovations in Learning Conference

Harrisburg, PA, September 6, 2007: Jay Bowden, President of TRC Interactive, Inc., the nation’s leader in interactive bank training, will be speaking at the upcoming Brandon Hall Innovations in Learning Conference being held in Santa Clara, CA September 24-26, 2007.

TRC Interactive Announces Creative Training Ideas Contest Winners

Harrisburg, PA July 25, 2007: TRC Interactive, the nation’s leader in interactive bank and credit union training has announced the winners of its first annual Creative Training Ideas Contest. Winners were selected based on how creatively they have incorporated BankTrainingOnline® or CreditUnionTrainingOnline® courses into their training programs.

The Platinum Award was given to Chartway Federal Credit Union’s 21 Days to Sales Excellence Training Program. The Gold Award went to BLC Community Bank’s Compliance Training Program. High Desert Federal Credit Union received the Silver Award for their Stakeholders Bonus Plan Program, and the Bronze Award was given to Chartway Federal Credit Union’s Compliance Training Program.

TRC Interactive Develops Unique World Class Training Interface for Major Northeast Bank

Harrisburg, PA, May 1, 2007: TRC Interactive, Inc., the nation’s leader in interactive bank training, has developed a world class training interface for a Major Northeast Bank’s personal bankers and financial associates that make it easier and faster to assist the customer. With the improved efficiency on the system, the TRC Training Program encourages personal bankers to use the customer interaction to help identify ways to better serve the customer’s current financial needs.  This unique project allows their staff to train on a system that grows over a period of years using customers that they become familiar with whose circumstances change as do real customers.

“The training isn’t all about the system,” says Jay Bowden, President of TRC Interactive, “but about how you can help a customer using the system tools provided and use the opportunity with the customer to recognize current and future financial needs. The training, therefore, is about the customer experience in the bank’s Financial Centers, so we created a series of scenarios using video and our unique transaction model which is not only self instructional but provides many opportunities for practice and skill mastery.”

Training scenarios are done in soap opera fashion. Through a series of videos, the participants are introduced to the customers and have become visually and experientially acquainted with customers just as they would in a Financial Center. The training program contains dozens and dozens of customers that have been created with various backgrounds and life circumstances (i.e. marriage, divorce, death, birth, college, home buying, etc.) that would bring them into the bank. Each time that a customer comes into the bank, the learner is encouraged to not only address the customer’s request using their newly acquired system skills, but also to recognize cross sell opportunities and make referrals where appropriate.  The participant gets to interact with the customer on the screen and then must enter into the system as they would in the Financial Center.

The customer then responds and further continues the interaction. Periodically a TRC exclusive Action Maze allows the learner to make various choices on how to respond to the customer’s situation without being stopped or guided by the learning program. At the end of the Action Maze, the learner will be presented with all of the choices that he/she made appropriately, and will also be given key opportunities that may have been missed, meaning missed compensation to the learner. It has been a very successful practice tool after the initial learning modules have been completed.

Major Southeast Financial Holding Company Selects TRC Interactive To Redesign Transaction System Training

Harrisburg, PA, April 23, 2007: TRC Interactive, Inc., the nation’s leader in interactive bank training, has been selected by a major southeast financial holding company to redesign their custom transaction system training. The financial holding company has been a TRC Interactive customer since 2000, first purchasing their award-winning TellerSolution® ~ Multimedia Teller Training Program®, and then selecting them to design the transaction training for their Sellstation Transaction System.

“Early on, it was necessary to distribute their training via CD Rom,” says Lorie St. Lawrence, Vice President of TRC Interactive, “because of technology limitations. When they merged with another bank in 2004, they were able to take advantage of the increased technology and higher bandwidth. They requested that the same version of TellerSolution® and transaction training be converted for a text based online delivery, still with the interaction and ability to learn to process transactions and save learner results.”

Since a recent merger with another big bank, the holding company has again been able to take advantage of new technology. With more than 2,000 branches in 16 states, they need to distribute quality training for the new tellers, and be able to update it easily as the financial industry changes. The holding company has selected TRC Interactive to redevelop their transaction training in an html/Flash-based technology, allowing for a higher level of graphics for learner interest, more interactivity than allowed with previous technology. Major North Carolina Based Bank Selects TRC Interactive To Design New Transaction System Training
