Faces of TRC Interactive Featuring... Dale Bechtel

Dale has been with TRC Interactive since the early 1990s and is our Enterprise Architect. He creates, designs, and implements the programming frameworks and creates customized functionality to meet all the needs of our products and projects including the underlying architecture and engines for BankTrainingOnline®, CreditUnionTrainingOnline®, and TellerSolution®.

Dale started in computer programming in the early 1980’s, creating inventory management systems for music stores, eventually moving into point-of-sale and minor accounting systems. He has worked in many programming languages and disciplines and is completely self-taught. His co-workers refer to him as the “magic man” because he can make all of our programming visions come true.

In his spare time, he rescues and cares for animals, mostly parrots and a few hamsters (or any other needy critter thrown in here and there). He is currently living with five parrots, an unknown quantity of Dwarf Hamsters, an elderly American Eskimo dog, and his most recent additions, two piranhas.
