Established_________________________ Since 1973
Experienced________________________ Strongest Credentials in Financial Institution Training Staff members include trainers, instructional designers, and development and implementation from the technical and banking industry, many of whom have dozens of published works, including one of the training industry’s experiential exercise pioneers – Session Builders. TRC Interactive was designing computer based training since the late 1980s, and helped set the standards for training today. Philosophy_________________________ Consistent Training Philosophy
Award-Winning____________________ Total Media Capabilities TRC Interactive, Inc. is the only major training design firm with total media capabilities. TRC Interactive, Inc. has produced many award-winning projects that not only meet and surpass training needs, but also add a truly professional quality. Knowledgeable_____________________ Our Success is Our People Ideally the “master” must have the classroom experience of a trainer, the academic background of an instructional designer, the understanding of an experiential developer, the logic of a programmer, the artistic creativity of a graphic artist, and the spirit of a game designer. These conflicting attributes don’t come in a single individual. That’s why most training development is done by teams. However, TRC has a unique cross-training approach that improves synergy and enhances results. Instructional designers recommend graphics. Graphic artists design exercises while content specialists and subject experts contribute exercises and so forth throughout the process. It’s not just recommended that TRC team members make cross-capability suggestions . . .it’s EXPECTED. About Our CEO ____________________ Jay B. Bowden, President In 1982 Jay changed the training landscape once more by introducing Session Builders, the first reproducible handout experiential exercise kit created to help Instructional Designers and Trainers produce better participant-centered courses. Many of the countless experiential exercises are still used worldwide in training classes. By the mid 80s, he began specializing in the financial industry because of its rapid growth and unique knowledge requirements. By the late 80s Jay was creating computer-based training courses. He’s best known for his use of existing technology in ways that maximize the learner experience, promote retention, and increase interest. During the 90s his countless online program designs set standards for interactivity and creativity. Combining his innovations in experiential learning with state-of-the-art software, he has produced training programs in nearly a thousand banks worldwide and just recently has earned a record-breaking three United States Distance Learning Awards for interactive design excellence. Ask Jay, however, about his accomplishments, and he will surely mention his grandchildren Kayton, Trey, Kenyon, Lane, and Tessa. Faces of TRC Interactive _______________
